About me
Hi, I’m Hannah, a professional pet portrait artist based in Glasgow and originally from Kent.
I create hand-drawn pastel and graphite portraits filled with colour, personality, and often a touch of playful charm.
I’ve always been the kind of person who lights up whenever I see a dog on the street, and I’ve been drawing them since childhood. My first muse was our chocolate labrador, Sasha. Years later, after studying History of Art and working in both the arts and charity sectors, I returned to what brings me the most joy: drawing animals.
Now I work from my home studio, creating custom portraits for pet lovers across the UK and beyond. I don’t just aim to replicate a photo. I love capturing the spark in a pet’s eyes, their quirks, or even their most ridiculous outfit. My portraits are expressive, personal, and sometimes a bit unexpected. If your cat thinks it’s royalty or your dog has a favourite jumper, I’m all in.
Creating this kind of work truly makes me happy. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day, and I hope that joy shines through in every portrait I make.
Whether you are looking for a thoughtful gift, a bold bit of wall art, or a keepsake of a pet you miss dearly, I would love to help bring your idea to life.
View my portfolio or get in touch to commission your own portrait. I can’t wait to hear about your pet.
Warmly,
Hannah
