Introducing Pups & Pints: Glasgow’s New Casual Dog Life Drawing Night
Share
If you follow my work here at Hannah Kelly Pet Portraits, you know how much I love capturing the personalities of animals on paper. But art doesn't always have to be a solo project in a quiet studio.
Lately, I’ve been wanting to create a cozy, low pressure space where art lovers, pet lovers, and anyone looking for a unique weeknight out in Glasgow can get together.
So, I’m thrilled to officially launch Pups & Pints, a casual, social dog life drawing night popping up in local Glasgow venues!
What is Pups & Pints?
Forget silent art studios or rigid, formal drawing classes. Pups & Pints is a super relaxed evening where you can grab a drink, pick up a sketchbook, and spend 90 minutes sketching a lovely, chill dog model.
We won't be forcing our pup onto a pedestal or asking them to hold a pose. Dogs stretch, doze off upside down, turn around, and snooze, and that’s half the fun! It’s all about capturing quick, expressive sketches of their natural shapes and quirks in a completely pressure free environment.
-
Zero Experience Needed: Whether you draw every single day or haven't picked up a pencil since school, you are so welcome. It’s about having a laugh and unwinding, not perfection.
-
All Materials Included: I'll provide sketchpads, pencils, and charcoal, everything you need for the night (though feel free to bring your own favorite sketchbook if you prefer!).
The Details & How to Book
Tickets are strictly limited for each session so the room stays comfortable for both the artists and our dog model.
