A Hand-Drawn Ragdoll Cat Portrait | Pearl’s Story

A Hand-Drawn Ragdoll Cat Portrait | Pearl’s Story

One of the most rewarding parts of being a pet portrait artist is hearing back from clients once their artwork arrives. Recently I had the joy of drawing Pearl, a beautiful ragdoll cat, as a bespoke pastel portrait.

Her owner kindly shared this review:

"Amazing portrait of my ragdoll Pearl. Quick turn around and speedy delivery. Amazing x"

Capturing Pearl in Pastel

Pearl’s portrait was created in pastel pencil on specialist paper. Ragdoll cats are known for their soft coats, striking eyes and gentle personalities, and I wanted to make sure all of these details came through in the drawing.

Every commission is unique, and for me it is about more than likeness, it is about capturing the essence of each pet.

Why Choose a Custom Cat Portrait

A hand-drawn cat portrait makes a meaningful keepsake or gift.

Many clients commission portraits to celebrate their pets, while others choose to honour a cat they have lost with a memorial portrait. Either way, the finished piece becomes something timeless to display and treasure.

As this review shows, my process is designed to be smooth and personal — from quick communication and clear guidance, to carefully packaged delivery.
