My First Pet Portrait Exhibition at Gusto & Relish, Glasgow!

Hi, I’m Hannah Kelly, an artist based in the Southside of Glasgow, and I’m super excited to announce my first exhibition now showing at Gusto & Relish Café on Pollokshaws Road!

I’ve always been drawn to drawing animals. As a kid, I spent hours sketching my chocolate Labrador, Sasha, and that passion for capturing their personalities has stuck with me. Now, I create custom pet portraits that bring each pet’s character to life, from cheeky dogs to cool cats!

For this new exhibition, I wanted to take it a step further. I asked myself, “What if pets were left to roam free in our world?” The result? A collection of playful, quirky original works that showcase animals in their most adventurous forms. From a Jack Russell making off with a pint to a dog chasing waves, this series is all about the fun side of our pets’ personalities.

Each piece is hand-drawn using pastel pencils — I love the rich texture and depth they bring to the artwork. And to keep things local and sustainable, all the frames are sourced from charity shops right here in Glasgow’s Southside.

Originals, prints, and custom commissions are available — so if you’re looking for a unique piece or want to capture your own pet’s personality, don’t hesitate to get in touch! You can reach me via my website, email, or Instagram. I’d love to hear from you here!

If you’re in the area, be sure to pop by Gusto & Relish, and if you take any photos of the pieces, please tag me — I’d love to see how the work is being enjoyed!

Thank you so much for all your support, and I can’t wait for you to see the exhibition!
