Easter 2025 Update from Hannah Kelly - Glasgow, Scotland
Creative Inspiration from Craigbank Farm
This Easter, I swapped my studio for the fields of Craigbank Farm in Dunlop, helping with their lambing tours while soaking up some much-needed creative inspiration! The fresh air, sunshine, and adorable lambs were just the boost I needed. Being surrounded by animals always fuels my creativity—there's something about their unique personalities and expressions that inspires my custom pet portraits.
Anne & Doris: The Highland Cow Portraits
One of my most exciting projects lately has been working on a Highland cow portrait of Anne & Doris, two special cows from Craigbank Farm. These beautiful animals hold a special place in my heart, as they’re named after my cousin's and her husband's mothers. 💛
From the first sketch to the final touches, I focused on capturing the shaggy textures of their coats and their gentle, expressive eyes. These portraits are part of a limited series of Highland cow art and will be available at the farm during the lambing season.
