How do I order a custom pet portrait
The process is relaxed and really straightforward. All you need to do is send me your favourite photo of your pet. From there, we choose the size and whether you would like graphite or pastel pencil. Once your choices are confirmed, I take a twenty five percent deposit to secure your slot.
I then begin drawing in my Glasgow studio. You can relax while I work and I will send you a preview once the portrait is nearly finished so you can see how it is taking shape. When everything feels right, I add the final touches.

What type of photo works best
Clear photos make the biggest difference. Good natural light, sharp details and a clear view of your pet’s face help me capture their personality in a way that feels true to them. You do not need a fancy camera. A simple phone photo is perfect as long as the details are clear.

How long does a pet portrait take
Most portraits take a few weeks depending on the level of detail and how many commissions I am working on at the time. Christmas is always my busiest season as people search for meaningful Christmas gifts for pet lovers, so early booking is always the best idea.

What materials do you use
Every portrait is drawn entirely by hand using either pastel pencil or graphite.
