Custom Pet Portraits for Christmas | 2026 Commission Slots Open

I know it feels like summer only just wrapped up, but behind the scenes in the studio, I’m already getting ready for the festive season!

Every year, hand-drawing custom pet portraits for Christmas gifts is one of my absolute favourite things to do. There’s something so special about capturing the unique personality, expression, and little quirks of your pets, and knowing it’ll be unwrapped on Christmas morning.

If you’ve read my post on The Beauty of Slow Gifting, you’ll know how much I love thoughtful, personalised gifts that stand the test of time.

Because each piece is individually hand-drawn, I can only take on a limited number of Christmas pet portrait commissions each year to make sure every artwork gets the care and detail it deserves. If you’re curious about what goes into making one, I recently shared a peek Behind the Scenes of how I create my expressive portraits.

How to Commission a Custom Pet Portrait

  1. Pick your favourite photos: Look for clear, well-lit photos that show off your pet’s natural expression and character. (If you read how the Cats of Southside Glasgow inspire my art, you know it’s all about catching those funny little expressions!)

  2. Choose your size & style: I offer options depending on your space and budget.

  3. Get in touch early: Slots fill up quickly, so booking early guarantees your artwork will be finished and shipped in plenty of time for Christmas.

If you’d like to commission a portrait or see examples of past work, head over to my custom commissions page or pop me a message with your photos.

I would love to hear your thoughts!
